1. Q: Who is Action Hosting?
A: Action Hosting specializes in providing hosting services. We are an approved third party supplier within the e-Marketplace. Action Hosting will take over Toronto Home Office’s hosting operations. All sites formerly hosted by Toronto Home Office will be transferred to Action Hosting.

2. Q: What is the DCP program?
A: The DCP program is a step towards the decentralizing of hosting services from the head office, similar to what happened 3 to 4 years ago when Production Centers were introduced.

3. Q: What does DCP stand for?
A: DCP stands for the Data Center Partner Program.

4. Q: Is the transfer to Action Hosting automatic or do I need to ask to be transferred?
A: The transfer to Action Hosting will be done automatically. We expect only a 5 minute downtime during this migration. Toronto Home Office will provide you with all the details prior to the transfer.

5. Q: If I don’t ask to be transferred, where are the sites going to be hosted?
A: Toronto Home Office has given you the option of moving your sites from Toronto Home Office to a DCP on the contact expiry date. All sites on the transfer date will automatically be transferred to Action Hosting. You also have the option of transferring your sites from Action Hosting to any DCP upon contract expiry; however, it is the intention of Action Hosting to offer world class service in order to retain our clients. More details about Action Hosting and its service will be released by Toronto Home Office.

6. Q: Looking at your website, I noticed different plans and costs. What plan are my sites going to be hosted in?
A: Action Hosting will honor, for the duration of your contract with Toronto Home Office, the same pricing and service levels. If you chose to remain with Action Hosting, we will move your site(s) to the appropriate plan. Regardless of which plan you use, you will have access to our Hosting Control Panel providing you with extensive site management and reporting capabilities.

7. Q: Is it possible not to register a domain with Action Hosting and just use your hosting package?
A: Yes, this is allowed.

8. Q: For the more expensive plan, can I do a reselling program or divide the plan up to a few individual clients?
A: Each plan is for a single domain/customer. However you can re-sell to as many customers as you wish.

9. Q: Will Action Hosting provide unlimited storage space?
A: Allowable storage space depends on the package you choose. Currently, our packages range from 50MB to 30GB storage space. If you require greater storage space than what our package offers, it can be provided at an additional cost.

10. Q: Will Action Hosting provide unlimited bandwidth?
A: Yes, Action Hosting's flexible hosting packages allows you to pay for only what you need. Unlimited bandwidth is an option available at an additional charge.

11. Q: What are the objectives of the DCPs?
A: DCPs are committed to providing world class hosting services to enhance the offerings of the WSI ICs, and enable them maximize the value they continue to deliver to their end-clients.

12. Q: Why is Toronto Home Office no longer providing hosting services?
A: Toronto Home Office has decided to decentralize hosting services from the head office to DCPs for the following reasons:
• Since Toronto Home Office’s core business is to support franchisees, they have decided to engage outside suppliers whose focus is on hosting, to ensure that ICs can operate ahead of their competition.
• The DCP programs foster a competitive marketplace for hosting services within the e-Marketplace that will maximize value to all ICs.
• The DCP program will also provide ICs with a wider range of products and services to meet and exceed the needs of their clients.

14. Q: Will my clients be affected by the transition? For how long?
A: We aim to provide a smooth and seamless transition with minimum impact to your clients business. However, approximately 5 minutes of downtime will occur while the site is being transferred from Toronto Home Office to Action Hosting.

15. Q: How long will the migration take?
A: The length of the migration will vary depending on the terms of the set up and DNS propagation changes. Toronto Home Office will keep you informed with regards to timing of these changes.

16. Q: Will this transition affect Maps?
A: Yes, Toronto Home Office will introduce a new section containing features and information about all DCPs in MAPS.

A: Updates on MAPS system can help you keep track of what project in hosted where and assist you when you contact support.

18. Q: Who do we call for assistance during the transition?
A: Please contact the DCP of your choice first and Toronto Home Office support if you require further assistance during the transition.

19. Q: Will my client’s MX records change after the site transfer?
A: Yes, your client’s MX records will change after the site transfer. Toronto Home Office will change the MX records if your domain is hosted on Toronto Home Office servers and your site is being transferred to Action Hosting.
Note: If you choose another DCP to host your website, you will be responsible to make the necessary changes.

A: Please contact the DCP you choose to host your website for all inquiries relating to hosting.

21. Q: Will I be receiving some comparison data from the new DCPs so that I can make an informed decision?
A: WSI is in the process of preparing a whitepaper giving a competitive analysis comparing the hosting services of the Toronto Home Office with other hosting providers. You will be provided with this analysis shortly.

22. Q: Will my site be sent automatically to Action Hosting if I do nothing?
A: Yes, your site will be transferred to Action Hosting if you do not provide Toronto Home Office with your choice of DCP. There will be no charge for the initial transfer, but Action Hosting may charge a transfer fee in the future if you choose to move your site from another DCP to Action Hosting.

A: Yes, your client’s A records will change irrespective of which DCP you choose to host your website with.

A: Yes, Action Hosting will provide the 100 MB storage space upgrade for Elite and Dedicated Hosting plan.

25. Q: Will Action Hosting provide Urchin Reports?
A: Yes, at present, Action Hosting will provide you with Urchin statistical reports; however, in an effort to improve customer experience, we may decide to change the program or application in the future. You will be notified in advance if any such change is scheduled to occur.

26. Q: Will Action Hosting be using the same hosting packages as Toronto Home Office?
A: No, Action Hosting packages are more flexible and provide more features then Toronto Home Office.

27. Q: Will the DCP make content changes to my website if required?
A: All content changes should be made by the Production Center. DCPs are hosting providers and not coding or development centers.
Note: If your site is being transferred to Action Hosting, you will not incur any charges as no content changes will be required. However; content changes may be required if you choose to transfer your site to a different DCP, and Toronto Home Office cannot guarantee that the DCP will absorb the costs.

28. Q: Where can I find the DNS servers for the various DCPs?
A: This information will be located in the hosting document of the DCPs, and MAPS. All domain names will continue to be registered through MAPS and utilize the central e-Marketplace DNS system in order to maximize redundancy of the whole network.

30. Q: What is the procedure for switching to a different provider?
A: Toronto Home Office is in the process of documenting the procedure and will make it available to you as soon as it is completed.

31. Q: What is Action Hosting’s SLA?
A: As an approved DCP, Action Hosting’s Service Level Agreement (SLA) will meet or exceed that of Toronto Home Office. Action Hosting will consistently strive to provide you with the highest levels of service and it will start by providing you with 24 hours a day/7 days a week customer support.

32. Q: Can I still call Toronto Home Office to fix my hosting issues?
A: Toronto Home Office will no longer be hosting your client websites. In the future, you would contact Action Hosting support center instead of Toronto Home Office support center.

33. Q: Can I still call Toronto Home Office support to ask what kind of hosting I need for my projects?
A: Action Hosting will provide hosting packages similar to Toronto Home Office’s. In order to establish what hosting package you need, identify the core components of your website. This will help you to determine what package suits your website the best. As always, Action Hosting is available to help you if you need further assistance.

34. Q: Can I freely choose other hosting providers outside of the e- Marketplace?
A: No, as per your franchise agreement only approved suppliers within the e-Marketplace such as Action Hosting can be used.

A: The base prices you see are for everyone. However once you log in the control panel the e-marketplace prices differs

A: This plan was intended for WSI site builder package and can be used as under construction plan. We have addition plans that do support asp and emails

A: Our email support is strictly POP based meaning that it is not Microsoft Exchange. However our email server can be accessed from any email client including exchange and outlook, our email server has a feature where email can be forwarded or send directly to other email account including blackberry. Please work with Toronto home office for pricing on the 30 additional emails as this information is also in MAPS.

40. Q: What are the name servers of Action Hosting?
A: WSI and Action Hosting (along with other DCPs) will employ a global DNS scheme. Primary name server will be located at WSI with secondary name server located at Action Hosting. Other DCPs will act as tertiary, quaternary, etc. name servers. This will ensure redundancy and help improve uptime.

A: You will be billed for your sites through the Action Hosting billing system. It will allow to store and change your customer’s credit and debits card automatically.
